Colourful romance for Fran and Gio’s wedding at Priston Mill
Fran and Giovanni wanted a colourful, romantic feel for their big day at Priston Mill near Bath. I chose a combination of pink, blue, white and orange with a little pop of yellow. Fran’s bouquet was a gorgeous combination of dahlia, craspedia, delphinium, campanula, oxypetalum, achillea, tanacetum, garden roses, ammi, spray roses, scabiosa, lisianthus, asclepias, asparagus fern, leather leaf fern and soft ruscus. Her bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets and Gio and his groomsmen wore buttonholes of craspedia, spray roses and soft ruscus.
Tied posies were attached to the aisle chairs leading the way down to the broken arch where the couple would exchange vows. The mezzanine was decorated with a natural style arrangement and each table featured a trio of bud vases and candles on top of a foliage base. To compliment the clean look of the cake I added garden roses, spray roses, craspedia and soft ruscus.
