Classic elegance for Melanie and David’s Clifton wedding at Mansion House.
Melanie and David wanted a classic, elegant look for their wedding at the Lord Mayors Mansion House in Clifton with their favourite colours being included for the ceremony and reception flowers.
For the bridal party flowers, I worked with a white and green colour scheme to create a timeless feel. Melanie’s hand tied bouquet featured roses, spray roses, ornithogalum, freesia, gypsophila, phlox, lisianthus and eucalyptus. Her bridesmaids carried smaller posies and the groomsmen wore simple rose buttonholes. David’s buttonhole matched Melanie’s bouquet and featured a rose, freesia and gypsophila, creating a link between them.
For the reception, we combined a mixture of low and tall arrangements on gold geometric frames which would allow conversation to flow easily between guests. Here we used the couples favourite colours, deep blue and purple combined with the white and green from the bridal party flowers. Each arrangement used delphinium, agapanthus, hydrangea, roses, spray roses, phlox, ornithogalum, lisianthus, freesia, lisianthus, soft ruscus, leather fern and eucalyptus to create a dramatic, eye catching look.
