Sumptuous blooms for Becky & Ben’s Clifton mini wedding

“Natalie did the flowers for our mini wedding in September, and they were just perfect - exactly the colours and style we were looking for.”

— Becky & Ben

I loved creating these relaxed but sumptuous floral displays for Becky and Ben’s gorgeous wedding venue, incorporating deep cerise and white to echo the wallpaper, with pops of blue and bold shapes to add a little wildness to the finished look.

After having to postpone the large wedding they had initially planned, Becky and Ben decided to have a more intimate wedding local to Bristol.

For their wedding flowers, Becky and Ben wanted a relaxed, natural style. They were open to my suggestions for the colour scheme, and we decided to tie in the colours of the beautiful location at No.4 Clifton Village, which has rich red and gold floral wallpaper. I used a colour palette of white, cerise, orange and blue, which worked beautifully with the room.

I mixed garden-style roses and deep cerise dahlias with soft blue delphinium, delicate white wax flower, flouncy pink astilbe and anemones to create a soft, relaxed look.

At the wedding reception, the tables were Harry Potter themed. I dressed each table with 4 small vases of matching flowers, along with tealights to create an informal atmosphere.

In total I created one bridal bouquet, one buttonhole, one floral mantlepiece arrangement, one registrar table arrangement, three window arrangements and five table arrangements, as well as flowers for the wedding cake.

“Natalie prepared mood boards from the examples of flowers and colours I sent in, and these were really helpful. We'd definitely recommend Blossom Co Floral Design!”
