Timeless white and green flowers for Isobel & Barnaby’s traditional wedding

“We didn't know exactly what we wanted, but from the first meeting Natalie created a fantastic explanation of all the combinations of flowers and foliages she could provide, as well as some things we didn't think of!”

Isobel and Barnaby came to me unsure of what they wanted for their wedding flowers, although they knew they wanted a white and green theme with some herbs mixed in. They wanted to achieve a timeless, elegant and traditional look.

Roses were the obvious choice for the focal flower due to their classic romantic look and timeless beauty, so I used a generous amount of them. The roses along with a selection of interesting foliage - including fresh thyme, sage, rosemary and eucalyptus - created a heavenly scent.

“My bouquet was stunning and the buttonholes were smart and smelt lovely. Natalie got everything delivered to where it needed to be in plenty of time, and even through the scorching July heat her arrangements lasted all through the day and night. ”

Isobel and Barnaby have family members in New Zealand, so I included ferns in the floral arrangements as a nod to them. A large pedestal floral display was used by the entrance of Clifton Club, and after all the guests had arrived this was moved into the venue.

In total I created one bridal bouquet, ten buttonholes, one flower crown for the flower girl, one pedestal arrangement, nine table centre displays and an arrangement for the registrars’ table, which then became the top table arrangement.

“All the arrangements in the venue were very generous in their roses and looked spectacular. She even gave some greenery to our cake maker to tie everything together. I'm so glad we went with Natalie, and couldn't fault anything.”
